At approximately 8 p.m., there was one of the most beautiful pink and purple sunsets hovering over
Mt. Princeton that I had ever seen. I captured some fantastic shots while on the side of Chaffee County
Road 306 west of Buena Vista.
I had the idea of speeding up to "the spot"
to maybe capture some sunset colors behind Jones Mountain.
By the time I arrived, it was not meant to be as seen by how dark it was.
It was still quite an adventure though!
