Cottonwood Pass Road

I am actually somewhat embarrassed about this photo, but hey, it was what was happening at 5:09 p.m. yesterday along Cottonwood Pass Road. It has been quite cloudy all day with snowfall touching upon peaks 12,500+ feet. The skies were finally beginning to clear and the western sunlight was trying to break through as I snapped the photo. I think I just might head up to this Jones Mountain spot in the late morning to hopefully have a prettier shot. ;)

And on a side note, I was busy all week hosting friends who staying in a cabin in Maysville. You can see our drive to Cottonwood Pass here: Cottonwood Pass With Friends -Steve :)
