I took a drive up to
Cottonwood Pass during the early afternoon,
where there was a century bicycling ride happening. Riders started in Salida
in the morning, reached Buena Vista, then turned west up the 19 miles to Cottonwood Pass,
before returning back downhill all the way to Salida. Impressive ride! Maybe I'll do it next year! ;)
