Jones Mountain In Colorado

From about Noon to 5 p.m., the sky was totally overcast. I showed up at "the spot" on Cottonwood Pass Road at about 2:30 p.m. and snapped the photo above. Notice the white-shaded car in the parking lot on the left. There were a few vehicles on the left side and it appeared many were fishing in Cottonwood Creek, which runs just left of the parking area but out of sight from this vantage point.

On a personal note, I spent some time yesterday on the west side of Independence Pass, including Aspen, Redstone and Marble respectively. There are so many large areas of Colorado aspens out there, and here is my link to some of my photos near Aspen and at McClure Pass.
