I was on my way back down from Cottonwood Pass and snapped this shot
around 6 p.m. Notice how the sun is beginning to fall behind the mountain. When
the sunset sets at approximately 8:35 p.m. during this time of year, the sun will
pull way to the right and reflect on the back side of Jones Mountain from this spot.
Earlier in the morning, I hiked a short stretch of the Colorado Trail lower in the canyon closer to Buena Vista.
